These Terms govern the use of this website and any services provided by Charlotte Paola Maria (“I”, “me”, “my”). By visiting the site or booking a session, you agree to these Terms.

1) Services & Scope

• Work offered: Portrait, Fashion, Documentary/Reportage photography.
• Each project is defined by a written proposal/quote (scope, timeline, deliverables, usage). If anything conflicts, the proposal prevails.

2) Booking, Deposit & Payment

• A non-refundable deposit (amount in your proposal) secures your date.
• Balance is due on delivery (or as agreed in the proposal).
• Prices exclude taxes and third-party costs (permits, studio, HMU, styling, travel) unless stated otherwise.

3) Rescheduling & Cancellation

• Client reschedule: give as much notice as possible; I’ll try to accommodate. External costs may apply.
• Client cancellation: the deposit is retained to cover reserved time and prep.
• My reschedule (illness/emergency): I’ll propose a new date, or refund amounts paid for undelivered work.

4) On the Day: Access & Safety

• Client ensures safe access and obtains required permissions/permits.
• I may pause/stop a session if conditions are unsafe or consent is unclear.

5) Editing & Deliverables

• Delivery: curated, edited digital files (resolution/number as agreed).
• Natural retouching only; complex retouching is a separate fee.
• Proofs (if provided) are for selection only—no sharing or use.

6) Usage License & Copyright

• Unless stated otherwise, you receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable license for the agreed use (personal/editorial).
• Commercial campaigns require a written license (territory, duration, media).
• Copyright remains with me. Do not alter, resell, or sublicense without permission. Cropping for layout is fine; heavy edits require approval.
• Credit (“Photo: Charlotte Paola Maria”) is appreciated for editorial use where practical.

7) Consent, Privacy & Dignity

• I photograph with care and consent. For minors, a parent/guardian must sign.
• I show work in my portfolio/socials only with your consent.
• For documentary/reportage, we discuss sensitivities and privacy before we begin.

8) Changes & Overages

Extra time, locations, crew, or edits beyond scope will be quoted at standard rates and delivered once approved.

9) Delivery, Approval & Archiving

• Typical delivery timeframes are stated in your proposal.
• Please review within 7 days; small corrections are handled promptly.
• I keep project files for a reasonable period but cannot guarantee indefinite archiving.

10) Liability & Force Majeure

• I exercise professional care but am not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
• If events beyond control prevent performance, obligations are suspended; we’ll seek a fair solution. Deposits for unrecoverable costs may be retained.

11) Indemnity

You warrant you have the right to request and use the images as agreed and will indemnify me against claims arising from your misuse or lack of permissions.

12) Website Use

• Site content (text, images, code) is protected; do not copy or redistribute without permission.
• Third-party links are provided in good faith; I’m not responsible for their content or policies.

13) Changes to These Terms

I may update these Terms to reflect practice or legal changes. The “Last updated” date shows the latest version.

14) Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of [insert jurisdiction]. Courts of [insert venue] have exclusive jurisdiction.
